Our story

Smartmile derives from the minds of two international entrepreneurs combining 20+ years in logistics with 16+ years of Entrepreneurship Aku and Steffen. They witnessed firsthand the birth of parcel lockers and the technological challenges and inefficiencies plaguing the industry. United by a common vision, they founded a team and set out to create a solution that would not only streamline locker delivery but also reduce its environmental impact. What started as a six year journey pioneering the Smartmile agnostic locker network in Europe became the ultimate software product for lockers we offer worldwide. Their unwavering dedication led to a software product that empowers businesses to optimize their delivery operations, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to a greener planet. Today, Smartmiles founders continue to lead the SaaS company with the same passion and commitment that sparked its inception. They remain dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation, fostering a culture of collaboration, and making a positive impact on the world.
